35th annual SSS at �山���� a success

The 35th annual Summer Scholarship Scramble (SSS) at Maysville Community and Technical College was a success, raising over $8,000 for student scholarships.

“Celebrating the SSS is a testament to the incredible support, dedication, and camaraderie of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and committee members,” said Cara Clarke, Executive Director of the �山���� Foundation.

With 94 golfers, 16 teams took their swings at making it into the top four placements at the end of the day. Official placements are:

First: Richie Mason’s Team

Second: Trace Creek Construction Team

Third: Phillip Grayson’s Team

Fourth: Laurel Oaks Team

There were prizes for multiple special holes, such as closest to the pin and longest drive as well.

“What began as a simple tournament has grown into a cherished tradition that brings our community together year after year. Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone event such a tremendous success. We look forward to building on this legacy for many years to come,” said Clarke.
